Copper Chimney (Worli-Kalaghoda-Lower Parel-Goregoan)

Tracing the timeless essence of the North West Frontier Province and Northern India, Copper Chimney takes you on a culinary journey of exploration and celebration of food, culture, and tradition. Capturing the robust flavours of the Frontier and the rustic fare of the fabled roadside ‘dhabas’ of Punjab, Copper Chimney delivers an authentic dining experience in its own signature style.

Copper Chimney

Our Heritage

Captivated by the gastronomic delights of the North West Frontier province and Northern India, Mr. Jagdish Kapur – a prominent Bollywood filmmaker and food connoisseur, introduced a distinctive and exquisite culinary offering like never before to India. With this, he founded and began the journey that is today Copper Chimney with the first outlet in Worli, Mumbai, in the year 1972.
Today, four decades later, Copper Chimney's rich heritage has spread across the country and gained international acclaim. Revered by food enthusiasts from across the globe, we have become a culinary landmark synonymous with authentic and flavourful cuisine as we continue to set new industry standards with our delicious food and cordial hospitality

Cuisine

Part of our rich heritage that has defined and enriched the Copper Chimney legacy is our special and exquisite culinary offerings, which are the original creations of our Master Chefs known as ‘Ustads’.
Original recipes handed down the Copper Chimney lineage for three generations along with a perfect blend of secret spices, fresh ingredients, and flavourful herbs are the essence of our cuisine.
Our offerings such as sumptuous kababs cooked in traditional coal-fired ovens called ‘Tandoors’; judiciously spiced curries simmered in customary copperware; fragrant biryanis cooked in dough sealed pots; and handmade Indian breads, take you on a tantalizing and immensely satiating adventure in gastronomy.

Festivals

Copper Chimney has always been committed to treating and delighting its patrons extravagantly by hosting a variety of culinary events and festivals commemorating various occasions. Some of our most popular events and festivals from yester years are:

The Legacy Day: Commemorating Copper Chimney’s inception back in 1972, we offer a special menu for our patrons on this occasion, where a select list of our most popular signature dishes are made available at the same price as it was in the seventies.

Kabab Festival: Embracing the true flavours of India, we host ‘The Copper Chimney Kabab Festival’. With an exhaustive platter of kababs specially prepared in Indian spices, herbs, and garnishes, this festival is truly a grand ‘desi’ treat.

Kababs from Kabul to Kolkata: Capturing the true essence of kababs by tracing their origins and various adaptations along the Grand Trunk Road, Copper Chimney celebrates ‘Kababs from Kabul to Kolkata’ – an authentic and distinctive offering of a wide range of delicious kababs that bring alive the age old flavours of a timeless era.

Punjabi Food Festival: Celebrating the rustic charm of the Punjabi ‘dhabhas’ and ‘rasois’, Copper Chimney offers a variety of mouth-watering specialities that include the robust Bhatti Da Murgh, the timeless Sarsoon Da Saag, and Makke Di Roti.
