Sunlight is a PARSI owned restaurant and bar with its ground floor section designed bit like an irani.
This is a place where you will find a Jukebox that has Iron Maiden, Eagles, MLTR and along with the best hits of bollywood and at times some soft music like Gazals by Kishore Kumar always help us to make up some good conversations with our sole buddies.

People call it has "SHADY", "HOLE IN THE WALL", "LOW BUDGET" restaurant and bar because you get alcohol at fairly cheap rate. Though its a shady place they are very strict and strongly against any kind of misbehavior in the restaurant which may even lead to permanent ban if in case he/she is a frequent visitor. Ground floor section is a non-ac section and the first floor is a A/C section. Smoking is allowed in both the sections.

Sunlight bar is famous for its Quarter and Bottle system which most of the bars do not provide and on the top its available at cheaper rates compared to others. Cheese NAN and cheese Popcorn, these two are the most awaited dish when you have BUD in one hand and Beer on the other ;).

This place is all about experiencing rather than putting it in words so go ahead and enjoy, i assure you that you wont be disappointed.

dara-s-dhaba-bohirpada.jpg (550×365)                               Restaurant

Dara's Dhaba is located in an idyllic surroundings of the most prestigious W.E Highway of mumbai at "Kashimira" Which is just and only 2 kms form Dahisar check post. For people who appreciate the art of good taste and the essence of hospitality, Dara's Dhaba will always remain in their hearts. For those who are set to experience the true definition of the dhaba taste, Dara's is located at the outskirts of Mumbai. It's just an hour's drive from the city. For people residing in the suburbs of North Mumbai, it's still closer. The Dhaba is strategically located adjacent to the Western Express Highway, in the heart of Kashmira. Be there to get the real taste of the Dhaba Experience. Precisely, Punjab served on a platter.

Restaurant

The next best thing to a lavish spread of scrumptious servings is the feeling of relishing it in a typical countryside, a midst the lushness of the native lands and the nostalgic fragrance of indigenous soil. Precisely, at the rustic outskirts of Punjab - The land of plenty, blessed by the delectable recipes of grandmas, and accentuated by a hospitality that traces back to the good old years.

It's all here at Dara's. 50,000 sq. km. of tinsel Punjab and its lip-smacking cuisines, brought alive in 1 acres of fertile land, in the heart of Kashmira, the outskirts of Mumbai. And just a look at the infrastructure, a feel of the ambiance and a privilege of its services are enough to recreate and unravel the unique pleasure of experiencing Punjab in Mumbai. Literally. In short it's an opportunity of being served; the whole of Punjab on a platter.

A perfect snapshot of feasting to your heart's content. the restaurant represents the exotic art of fine dining. Treat your taste buds with exquisite North Indian delicacies and sizzling Chinese cuisine, spirited by the finest spirits from Indian and foreign abundance; startling cocktails, gamut of wines and feisty liquors. Everything, served to you within a ceremonial ambiance and royal service. Enjoy Every tuesday night Candle lite Dinner.

Banquet / conference Hall

Great banquets don't need lengthy addresses but just a popular landmark. Daffodils at Dara's is a reputed landmark to have the most memorable banquets, with a capacity of 150. Be it corporate Banquets, family get-together, kitty parties or simply yet another reason to make you feel special, Daffodils adds to the grace and sophistication. What's more, you have a team of hospitable escorts at your service and the assurance of a lavish spread of food delights. A combination of the city's frolic and rural ambiance is the basic concept of Dara's Dhaba. Therefore, what a frolicking Mumbaite would look for or anticipate to make the most memorable event, is all here. To put it in nut and shell, the attractions at the Dabha have been designed by keeping the patron in mind. And had it not been for the exhaustive researches conducted among various Dhabas in Punjab, Dara's would be just another old-wine-in-new-bottle types. Strategic planning and a repertoire of pre-launch essentials have made Dara's the right place for the right people. Different and innovative, yet blended with the air of rural nuances.

Open Air Dhaba

Break a conversation with the stars or invite the night for a tryst with the romantic open air. Exactly what Dhaba lovers would expect from a typical Dhaba. Spread over acres of land and decorated by nature, this is the hot spot to breathe in the fresh village air, blended with the aroma of North Indian and Chinese food and, of course the rich smell of the soil. For couples who crave for isolation, there's a special place allocated in the open. So if having a treat in the lap of nature and under the roof of the sky is your way of calling it a feast, so be it at Dara's Open Air Dhaba.

This was the distinct vision and singular goal that Shri Jagatjit Singh Bajaj visualized for the fun-loving people of Mumbai. It dates back to the eighties, when he realized that Mumbai seriously needed a break from the circle of deadlines and competition. He dreamt of merging the city's frivolous spirit with the culture and vibes of a typical village. From then, till date Dara's Dhaba reflects this vision. What started as a simple Punjab-Da-Dhaba, is now the most reputed and excellent joint for the people who comprise the elite of Mumbai. For the connoisseurs of good taste, Dara's is the final say.

Apart from earning the reputation of being Mumbai's only original Dhaba, Dara's has also become the one-stop for conferences, banquets and marriage parties too. Corporates, friends and families have branded it as one of the best spots for a memorable get-together.

The massive strides that Dara's Dhaba has taken over the years have been a success story to reckon with. And all these achievements are attributed to the compliments and good wishes of its patrons.

Copper Chimney

Our Heritage

Captivated by the gastronomic delights of the North West Frontier province and Northern India, Mr. Jagdish Kapur – a prominent Bollywood filmmaker and food connoisseur, introduced a distinctive and exquisite culinary offering like never before to India. With this, he founded and began the journey that is today Copper Chimney with the first outlet in Worli, Mumbai, in the year 1972.
Today, four decades later, Copper Chimney's rich heritage has spread across the country and gained international acclaim. Revered by food enthusiasts from across the globe, we have become a culinary landmark synonymous with authentic and flavourful cuisine as we continue to set new industry standards with our delicious food and cordial hospitality

Cuisine

Part of our rich heritage that has defined and enriched the Copper Chimney legacy is our special and exquisite culinary offerings, which are the original creations of our Master Chefs known as ‘Ustads’.
Original recipes handed down the Copper Chimney lineage for three generations along with a perfect blend of secret spices, fresh ingredients, and flavourful herbs are the essence of our cuisine.
Our offerings such as sumptuous kababs cooked in traditional coal-fired ovens called ‘Tandoors’; judiciously spiced curries simmered in customary copperware; fragrant biryanis cooked in dough sealed pots; and handmade Indian breads, take you on a tantalizing and immensely satiating adventure in gastronomy.

Festivals

Copper Chimney has always been committed to treating and delighting its patrons extravagantly by hosting a variety of culinary events and festivals commemorating various occasions. Some of our most popular events and festivals from yester years are:
